Master the Legal Metrology Act
This is the core of the exam. Allocate at least 40% of your study time to the Act, its rules, packaged commodities regulations, and penalty provisions.
02
Strengthen Technical Subjects
Electronics, Physics, and Instrumentation require conceptual clarity. Study measurement instruments, bridge circuits, and SI units thoroughly.
03
Practice Previous Papers
Solve previous Kerala PSC Legal Metrology question papers (including 2023's Cat. 158/2020 & 485/2022) to understand question patterns and difficulty level.
04
Manage Negative Marking
With −⅓ per wrong answer, avoid random guessing. Attempt only questions you are reasonably confident about. Accuracy over quantity.
05
Daily Current Affairs
Spend 20–30 minutes daily on Kerala-specific news, science updates, and national events. Focus on the last 12 months from the exam date.
06
Mock Tests & Timing
Regularly simulate exam conditions: 100 questions in 90 minutes. Build the speed and accuracy needed to attempt the paper comfortably.
